Missing Manhole Cover Causes Delays On Route 1 Central Jersey

Emergency construction and a missing manhole cover were causing delays on Route 1 in Middlesex County, authorities said.

The problems were originally reported at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday,, March 16, by the New Jersey Department of Transportation. 

At 3 p.m.Thursday, two right lanes of three lanes remained closed due to the roadwork, 511nj.org reported.
